Revised edition includes 100 new exercises The Mens Health Big Book of Exercises is the essential workout guide for anyone who wants a better body As the most comprehensive collection of exercises ever created this book is a body shaping powe I got this book for the exercises I am working out very regularly and just needed to vary my workout When I got the book I realized it was also about a Diet TNT This diet tells you how to eat and also how to work outI decided to give the diet a try This book is very tightly coupled to the TNT book which also has this author as a co author I ended up buying the TNT book too because I didn't feel like this book had enough detail on the diet and the workoutsHowever I was really kind of disappointed as this book is up to the second edition while the TNT book is still on its first which was published in 2007 a lifetime ago in today's loopy world of Nutrition science The two books don't line up as well as you'd think and I'm not sure if it's because they were badly written that way or this book is in its 2nd editionAnyway the exercises list is ok if you just get the book for that though a lot is missing However way too much space is on Variants of main exercises and most of those Variants don't explain any benefit to using the Variant Some do but most don't But it does have a lot of exercises kind of uantity over uality but still pretty goodThe diet information is meh I get the basic concepts but the list of foods isn't very complete so you end up with all kinds of uestions There also seems to be a lot of conflicting info in just this book along with the TNT bookThe workout routines is what's most disappointing They don't match up between this book and the TNT book and this book doesn't really have the euivalent of the Advanced workout that the TNT book has You have these 12 week workouts for basic and dieting what do you do after that? I think your probably supposed to put together your own routines but definitely this book is missing info to make you feel comfortable doing that assuming you want to follow the TNT approachAnyway very disappointed as I think between the two books you could have had something decent
