I'd be afraid she'd come back to haunt me too Thomas does do a fairly good job though of displaying her as a woman of great stature and tremendous star power but with many faults and contradictions If you're looking for juicy gossip or horror stories then this ain't your book sister I'd suggest reading Mommie Dearest for that and drawing your own conclusions But start here if you want to get to know Joan on the surface and then move on to the other books written about her and by her Yes she even wrote a couple of books Did you think she slept in between all those trips to and from the openings of Pepsi bottling plants? Not on your life
