For those with persistent Own Neck eBook #10003 neck pain this book offers a step by step guide to self treatment through awareness education and easy to perform McKenzie Method® ex It’s too soon to tell whether these exercises will help or not but I’m a little frustrated after reading this book The main reason I purchased this book was to learn and do the exercises in order to diminish my neck pain It turns out that there are only 7 exercises in the entire book Chapter 5 explains the exercises how and when to do them I’m doing exercises 1 and 2 Exercises 3 and 4 are for those who can’t do 1 and 2 Exercise 5 is for those with acute pain on one side Not me When it comes to exercises 6 and 7 there seems to be a contradiction On page 37 it says “When acute pain has subsided Exercises 6 and 7 always followed by Exercises 1 and 2” But on page 49 it says to “Only do Exercise 6 if your neck pain or headache is not helped by Exercises 1 and 2 So should I be doing Exercise 6 when my pain subsides after doing 1 and 2 or only if my neck pain is not helped by 1 or 2 Not knowing the answer to that uestion leaves me with only two exercises out of the entire book

Treat Your Own Neck 5th Ed 803 5 Cover May VaryIcal therapy chiropractic care or other manual therapy as it can relieve pain and prevent symptoms from recurring between visits Written by Robin McKenzie Illustrated Softcover pages I followed the excersize book plan for a couple of weeks without improving and then I visited a McKenzie trained physiotherapist I wasn't doing the chin tuck excersize properly I was only off by a little bit but what a positive difference it made once I started doing it the right way Another thing he told me was they look for one specific excersize that makes a difference and they focus on it The book doesn't tell you this From my experience I'd suggest seeing a McKenzie trained therapist before buying the book
