Think and Grow Rich Official Publication of the Napoleon Hill FoundationIllion Copies SoldThis editio The book begins by sounding a bit pompous yet it is done in an effort to challenge the reader and entice them to read on therefore I can forgive the initial sales pitch The book does attempt to give good advice and does establish some credibility by referencing approvals and sometimes even real advice from individuals who truly amassed large sums of wealth However the book destroys its own credibility by occasionally citing supposed facts such as how the Earth is suspended in the ether male baldness being caused by wearing hats that are too tight and how it is a good idea to learn new skills in the modern and sure to be long term profession of I believe it was mimeograph copying I can see why in its day this would have been a smash hit but it has not aged well I would suggest Rich Dad Poor Dad The Millionaire Next Door or The Total Money Makeover as better alternatives
